Good radar

I started to use this app to track my beach weather for many years. Made so many of the right decisions, thankfully. Now I use it on the regular. Love it.

This “forecast” info is absolutely frustrating and zero predictive ability. Doing roof repairs atm, waited until forecast shows “0% chance of rain/precipitation in your area…for the next 72hrs” meanwhile its now pouring and the roof is open, wood is ruined, power tools soaked and theres more on the way. NOW IT SAYS 10% chance of rain all of a sudden. I cant say what i would like to do to the individual responsible for running the forecasts but it wouldn't be nice. This app is the paid version WITH the add-ons too. Trash.

A lot packed into the app! My only complaint is that you can’t control or pause the map animation (and it moves way too fast)!

For a paid app its very sparse and has little to offer compared to other similar apps such RadarScope & RadarOmega. Riddled with “paid add-ones” to get any usable information that others offer for free, such as single site radar. There’s better & cheaper options out there that offer far more functionality and offer a more complete product when you step into the paid tiers. If you’re a weather enthusiast don’t let the high ratings fool you, you’ll be disappointed.

Long time user. More accurate and dependable than my local weather people. This is my go to forecast.

You won’t be with MyRadar Weather Radar Pro. The app is extremely user friendly and makes tracking of weather in multiple locations easy. MyRadar Pro’s accurate and timely data has become a staple for my family. It’s the first app I open in the morning and the last app I close at night. MyRadar Pro provides consistently update radar images to access during severe weather outbreaks and alerts you to watches and warnings. Thank you for your app.

Within an app, it asked me if I was satisfied. I said no, it asked me if I would be willing to give feedback. I said yes. When I wrote all of the following, the app would not allow me to send the message. I took out what I wrote, and now am posting it here for them to find. I’m finding the app difficult to navigate. I don’t know where the ten-day forecast is or if there are indicators for allergens. I received a notification one time I think it was for the swells of the waves, but I never was able to see that anywhere in the app. I wasn’t able to read the notification before it disappeared, and when I looked into the app, I was not able to see anywhere where that notification has come from. There is nothing I can find in the app related to the tides or swells in the ocean.

The pro is worth every penny. This is the best weather app you can find for iPhone. It’s precise, accurate and easy to navigate. The pro upgrade is worth every penny.

I used to love MyRadar Pro…until journalists revealed that your location data, home, workplace, and meetings with friends, family, and business associates are tracked by MyRadar, and then sold to data brokers, insurance companies, and anyone else who pays the fee. A great app ruined by greed.

Gulf of Mexico? Couldn’t find the edit button huh? When will you correct it? Lame app.

Great app…very informative and works well on my iPhone. However, it does not work consistently on my my Ultra watch. Please fix this!

Watches/warnings notification sounds are now just the default apple sound I assign instead of the custom weather radio sound I used to hear on this app. How to fix? Can we have custom sounds for watches vs warnings?

Use this app regularly

Right now, my radar Pro is showing absolutely no rain, but it’s pouring outside in San Francisco, Heredia, Costa Rica.

There are no live activities after this feature has been available to developers for a few years now. Lowering my rating as I find other weather apps much more useful that actually implement and give their paying subscribers up to date features. UPDATE: 3/13/25 STILL NO UPDATE WITH LIVE ACTIVITIES, and it seems this company customer’s reviews just fall on deaf ears. No response whatsoever from them either. Shame. Lowering to one star.

A picture takes up three quarters of the screen making the radar useless. Not worth the investment in weather radar information. MyRadar Weather Radar Pro is far from being useful.

This app is spamming with some kind of scam! Even though I paid for Pro and disabled notifications, this app has a pop up on the screen and there’s no way to disable this annoying behavior. Spam.

Unbelievable. I paid the $5.99 to buy the app without ads only to be forced onto a screen urging me to spend another $12 a month for a useless text message add-on that will supposedly alert me to severe weather in my area. There is no way to exit this screen to access the app I ALREADY PAID FOR. There is no X to make the screen close, nor is there any other option to close the screen thereby making your $5.99 akin to throwing money down a storm drain. The only way to move forward is to choose a weekly or yearly plan and click on the "start free trial" button. This has got to be illegal.

Love the addition of the wind gauge with the hourly conditions!

More widget options would be nice please.

Most reliable app I’ve purchased

This is a great app, but lately when I have weather alerts turned on I can't navigate anywhere on the map that has a weather alert without a weather alert constantly popping up and blocking the map. I don't know if it's suddenly hypersensitive or what. I used to be able to navigate the map and tap on an alert area if I wanted to see what the alert was. But now, if I navigate anywhere around a weather alert area, it pops up, unasked...so much so that I have to turn weather alerts off if I want to be able to see what the weather conditions are.

Why? You didn’t have to and you know it!

Needs more widget options and less confusing interface.

Best app on the web But we need to change the gulf to Gulf of America Aloha

May I humbly request the addition of cloud base height and KP index? Please, please, please (that worked with my mom growing up… 🤞🙏). Thanks for being awesome!

I would much prefer to have a widget on my home screen as a way of accessing the app but they only give one lackluster widget that is worse than the default weather apps widgets

App works well, tech service is helpful if needed.

Very good realtime and detailed weather info at your fingertips.

Lots of sketchy spyware tracking sites being used and Just got a “weather alert” that was basically an advertisement for a local sports event… no way to turn off. Time to find a safer app.

Great app, that after a rocky start, has matured into an indispensable weather resource. Features added over the years really complement situational awareness. Revising an older critical review to say great job!

This is a great resource — I use throughout the day. If you a “weather guy or gal” or just “checking in On things this is the weather app for you.

So far I have liked this weather app, it is very accurate and works with CarPlay, I am hoping it will improve in time.

I have a lot of weather apps but MyRadar Pro is by far the Most Detailed & Accurate! And with the layers tab you can have it layered to the Max like I like it or Simplify it if you just want Temps and Weather. Seriously its a Great App.

Easy to use and understand, customizable, great alerts/notifications. I use it as a weather radio.

Of all important apps I use, no notifications happen with identical privacy settings. I ran some professional security software and found that a lot of sketchy trackers are being blocked. Why is such data on me being collected that has no relevance? Is this why I am not getting important alerts? I guess I need to find a new and less invasive app. Too bad too because as a longtime user, up to now I had no issues.

I didn’t give 5 stars because they bombarded me with ads. I paid for it just because of that but I thought heavily about deleting the app because of the adds and the cost associated with getting the ads removed.

It took some getting used to, but after I got used to it, I find the info I’m looking for quicker and the information seems more localized than other apps. Its warnings for rain starting in “x” number of minutes is spot on. This quickly became my go to weather app.

App keeps freezing or only displaying temps for saved locations.

I have a weather station of my own and use other apps for long range forecasts, but this app has everything radar and world-wide current (now weather) I need. Very good graphics and iconography, many useful m layers. I use this every day.

The interface is beautiful and it’s impeccably accurate.

The app used to be my favorite. But now it doesn’t do anything, it just loads and locks up.

Worked great when purchased in 2020. I never received update needed. Now, street map visible, but street names are completely scrambled and useless. None of my several requests for help have been answered.

I’m a professional pilot. I’ve used this app for years and it’s the best radar/weather app I know. I highly recommend you give it a try.
